We receive members by affirmation of faith and baptism, or by reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, or by transfer of membership from another Christian church.

Inquirer's Class

The pastor, Megan Ritchie, and Elder Mark Strength regularly conducts new member inquirer's classes covering the basics of Christian doctrine:

· Jesus Christ - who he is and what he has done.
· The Christian church with origins in the Old and New Testament.
· The Reformed Tradition and Presbyterian form of government.
· The Sacraments of Baptism and Lord's Supper.
· Worship and discipleship at First Presbyterian Church of Smyrna.
