The people of First Presbyterian Church of Smyrna gather on Sunday mornings at 10:00 with friends and family to worship God. Our services begin and end with music and include prayer, Bible reading and preaching. The music is blended with traditional hymns and contemporary. The organ and piano are played every Sunday, and at least twice a month, we also sing to the music of guitar and other instruments. We have a traditional choir, a praise team, a bluegrass band, a junior praise band and other opportunities for children to participate with voice and rhythm instruments. Our services are welcoming to people of all ages. There is a children’s message each Sunday, and “children’s church” three times a month. On most Sundays, a child leads us in the call to worship near the beginning of the service.
