Serving and Learning Together (SALT)
Discipleship Ministry
First Presbyterian Church of Smyrna believes that in order for us to do the work of God, we must remember that we are, first and foremost, children of God. SALT provides all ages with opportunities to learn about our identity in Christ. Through study and prayer, through lessons and activities, we grow and learn as we serve together.

Children's Ministry
We'd love to have your little ones join us for SALT every first and third Sunday morning. First Church has a wonderful children's ministry, and our curriculum builds a foundation of faith in Jesus. All children are welcome! You can bring the parental registration form below or fill it out in person when you come. We'd love to answer questions about this ministry for you and your family, so please feel free to reach out.

Jesus Loves the Little Children
Little Ones in Worship & Nursery Care
Children, infants, and toddlers are always welcome in worship. We have a prayer ground at the back of the sanctuary where children and their families can sit together while the children color and look through books. We love teaching children and families about intergenerational worship, and living out this practice together. If you need to step out, the service can be heard in the community fellowship room or in the lobby. With a nursery area available, if needed.

Belonging, Identity, and Faith
Youth Ministry
Middle & High School Youth
Our church has always had an invigorating and active youth program and while we currently do not have a youth group, as families with children/youth enter our building we encourage and empower those families to help us create ways in which we can grow - not only focusing on the age groups but encouraging a family-integrated, intergenerational community for all our members and visitors.
We encourage youth to be a part of our worship as we build relationships between old and young and helping serve our community in various ways. We'd love for you to be a part of our growth!

Missions Ministry
First Presbyterian Church of Smyrna is mission minded. Jesus sent us into the mission field to serve one another. FPC sees hunger as a tangible ministry that all can participate in. either thorough our partner organizations, or through giving opportunities. We at FPC believe we can all make a difference to those who are hungry.

Empowering Women, Inspiring People
Women's Ministry
Presbyterian Women (PW) is a caring organization of women that provides ways to help the church and the surrounding community. PW of the First Church of Smyrna is not a select group of women….it is for all women of the church. Presbyterian Women are guided by a Purpose that includes ministry, resources, and relationships. During the year, the PW hosts events where the proceeds are distributed to those in need. Some of the events include a chili supper and cake auction, spaghetti supper and silent auction, Christmas breakfast and craft sale, etc. All these events provide a way to get to know the members of the church by fellowship and working together. Being involved in PW is rewarding, fulfilling, and most of all fun. Your life will be enriched by Presbyterian Women, and Presbyterian Women will be richer for having you!
